I'm so excited that you've booked a photo shoot with me. This is our first step to creating beautiful art for your family, of your family!
I've put together this guide to help you prepare yourself and your family for your upcoming photo shoot. Spare a couple of minutes to read through.
I will be at the location at least 20 minutes before the session start time. Please be punctual so that we have enough time to get the best photos within the agreed duration.
Your photo shoot has a specific duration based on the package that you've booked. The session will end according to the contracted duration and any delays in arrival or dressing up will result in lesser time for photos.
But fret not, I have kids too and I understand that sometimes we just need more time. If I do not have another photo shoot booked after your session, I would be delighted to offer you the option to upgrade your package for more time and more photos.
Don't forget to look for parking options and commute time well in advance so that you can arrive on time.
What to bring:
Deciding what to wear for your session can seem overwhelming, and is often the most stressful portion of the prep - but it doesn't have to be. Here are some easy guidelines to help you and your family look your best for your photos.

What to Avoid:
When choosing colors and tones, ask yourself how it will coordinate with your home once it becomes Wall Art. The whole idea of investing in family photography is so that you can enjoy the fruits of your labor everyday in your home with images that bring you joy!
I encourage you to visit my website or Instagram feed @michellevazphotography and DM me the links of the style of photos that you would like for your family.
Draw inspiration from Instagram & Facebook to see what speaks to you and your family style.
Send me screenshots of shopping considerations, snap a selfie or take a pic of everyones outfits on a bed and I'll help you pick your outfits if you want me to!
Not to sound super cheesy, but it’s true — this time is so fleeting, take it in! I want you to have fun and make happy memories. It’s going to be fantastic! I can’t wait!
